Basic Information
In early 2011, International Human Development Society (IHDS) was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms in Bangladesh as a nonprofit Bangladeshi organization working for Human Development through research, training, dialogue, campaign and advocacy especially for Youth & Migrants.
IHDS`s primary focus is on youths because they are the future. They learn fast, take risk, and can transform societies with human resources for building resourceful country.
Following are the major activities of International Human Development Society (IHDS).
- All matter relating to youth-their welfare, training and prospects.
- Organization and mobilization of the youths for voluntary participation in the development activities of the country.
- Community Development through ITES, Language training and technology-aided education
- Helping the mobility of the students and youth to enable worldwide interaction of culture, information, knowledge and wisdom.
- Propagating humanism and spiritualism which, combined with a scientific outlook may offer a viable philosophy of life for the world.
- Bringing students and youth together for the promotion of social justice and humanity.
- Connect with young from across the world and build bridges of friendship
- Provide information on planning, financing, preparing for college; accessing resources; and about career exploration.

Vision
Capacity building of rural youth merge with national development process attaining income generated technical skills. Aid to establishing such a society where the Bangladeshi rural poor are lifted to economically self-reliant, lives in inequitable, just and sound society, enjoy healthy, peaceful, secure & ecologically balanced environment.
Mission
Our mission is to empowering underprivileged youth, children and women of rural area through technical skill development for rehabilitation and to alleviate human suffering in the face of adversity on to provide means for peaceful survival. Also capacity building of rural youth merge with national development process attaining income generated technical skills. So we need to create millions of skilled workforce both male & female youth, befitted for foreign employment and manning RMG& other industries throughout the country. Since we don’t have enough training centers in the country so, IHDS have taken an initiative to establish ideal training centers on to produce skilled workforce to earn foreign currency and be an active part of national development.

- Seminar & Symposium: Conduct regular Seminar, symposium, Workshop inviting experts to attain updated suggestion and implement accordingly to face new challenges successfully.
